Whats is a Regular Cleaning?

A regular residential cleaning refers to the set of cleaning tasks frequently performed in a home to keep it tidy and sanitized. These tasks are carried out routinely, be it daily, weekly, or biweekly, depending on the home's and occupants' needs.

Included in the standard regular residential cleaning are usually:

Sweeping and Vacuuming: All rooms in the house are swept and vacuumed, including hallways and stairs. Surface Cleaning: Cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces, including countertops, tables, and other horizontal surfaces. Bathrooms: Cleaning and disinfecting sinks, toilets, bathtubs and/or showers. This also includes cleaning mirrors and changing towels if necessary. Kitchen: Cleaning and disinfecting countertops, sinks, faucets, and external surfaces of appliances. May include dishwashing. Dusting: Dust removal from furniture, shelves, frames, baseboards, and other decorative items. Trash Replacement: Emptying and replacing trash bags in all rooms. Floors: Mopping and cleaning of wooden, tile, or linoleum floors. The list above is the basic standard for many regular residential cleaning services, but it's important to note that every home is unique and may have specific needs. Some cleaning companies or professionals might offer additional services, or certain tasks can be negotiated based on the client's preferences. It's always a good idea to discuss specific expectations and needs before hiring a cleaning service.

Tasks like changing sheets, laundry, window cleaning, interior fridge cleaning, and inside cabinet cleaning are typical of a deep clean. These activities target areas and items that tend to accumulate dirt or wear over time, and when cleaned, can significantly enhance the home's environment and freshness.

However, it's essential to stress that many cleaning companies or professionals view these specific tasks as additional services and, therefore, charge separately. They are not included in the standard deep cleaning package and require an added cost, given the time, effort, and specialized products that might be necessary for their effective execution.

Thus, when seeking a deep clean for your residence, it's recommended to discuss in detail with the cleaning company or professional what services are included in the standard package and which ones will have additional costs. Clarifying these points beforehand helps avoid surprises and ensures the desired cleaning level for the house.
